What glass types are available for glass splashbacks?

I’ve been given all sorts of information from various companies on the different glass types available for kitchen and bathroom splashbacks as an alternative to tiling. Can anyone give any pointers in plain english?

There is a fairly new product out called Dreamwalls Color Glass by Gardner Glass. This is a great product because it comes in various colors and can even be customized. The processed used to make it is similar to that of making a mirror so it has a protective backing. It is made with a low iron glass therefore has true color properties. You cannot buy directly from Gardner, but you can see all the benefits of it if you do a search for it online; and you should be able to buy it from your local glass companies. Best of luck!
